1.  What is the difference between Dielines and Templates?

Dielines are for you to download and share with your designer for applying your own graphics and design. Return to Sandbox to upload the completed print-ready PDF (PDFx-1A format), including embedded fonts and bleeds.

Templates are existing layouts with some of the graphics included in the design. You can use the eDoc editor to customize with your own logo, images and copy, and then order the printed material directly from the site when you’ve completed your online design. Templates can also be created from YOUR designs for your unique, ongoing use.

2.  Why are the quantities offered in discreet amounts?

While there is less waste because we print digitally, the reality of production is that it is impossible to produce an exact number. If you were to order, say 258 of something, the production floor would still likely print 300-400 to ensure that after the bindery, you end up with at least 258. The quantity breaks we offer reflect this, and still provide you with appropriate price breaks as you order more.

3.  What should I do if I need a quantity that isn’t offered?

Email sandbox@loupegraphics.com and we can provide a custom quote.

4.  How can I get a physical proof before printing?

Whether you upload your own art or use our online editing tool eDOC, you can order a quantity of 1 and have a printed sample sent to you as a proof. After you receive the proof, if everything is good, go back to your account and reorder the item at the production quantity you need.

When you use our eDOC tool, a PDF proof will be generated for your approval.

5.   Are there limitations in digital print?

We use digital print to provide low quantities at a competitive price, quick turnarounds and reduced environmental footprint because it generates less waste. When printing in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black), the color gamut can create only some of the pantone colors. If you have a brand color that you typically run as a PMS, contact us to check if it is in the gamut or to get a custom order. CMYK cannot produce a metallic ink.

6.  Do hock bottles and sparkling bottles fit in the boxes and pulp inserts?

Yes, we use the Vintners’ Choice XL inserts, appropriate for all 750mL glass

 7.  Where do you ship?

We ship via UPS and FedEx, so we are able to ship anywhere they go. Our trusted suppliers have production facilities in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. We aspire to add suppliers wherever demand dictates to allow you to support your local industry, save money on freight, and reduce your environmental footprint.

 8.  Are items kitted and/or shipped together?

Products are sourced through different suppliers, depending on the requirements of the item—this means that each type of item will ship separately and may arrive at different times. Note each product description includes an estimated production time. It does not include transit time.

You can request items be set up as a kit for ease of ordering in the future (ie, if you will always purchase a 3 bottle printed box, inserts and a box topper, for example), however each item will still ship separately.
